Example Course

Course can be broken down into sessions with time to prepare a planned speech /presentation.

A typical course may include:

• Introduction-discuss what each individual would like to achieve from course adjust course related to learners needs.
• Teach basic skills of effective communication / presentation skills. I will give bad and good examples and discuss feedback from participants.
• Role Plays e.g. Press meeting, questions from the floor to a chaired meeting. (Note: There will be no videos of speeches as this can be rather intimidating.)
• All learners to make a speech on a subject they are comfortable with.
• Overall review of speeches, self assessment, self positive criticism.
• Overall learn techniques to calm nerves, control emotions, focus and speak in public . whether one on one or to groups of people. ​

Courses will have self evaluation and self assessment.
